Our story is quite a fairy tale that almost didn't happen. Victoria and I met in Brooklyn and then had our first date on Oct 11th, 2015. Victoria was two weeks into a 3 week US vacation. That following weekend, which was when she was going home, I had to go to Colorado on business.

I felt something special for her. I told her that if she were to skip her flight that I would get her a ticket home when she was ready to go.

While in Colorado I couldn't stop thinking of her.

To my surprise and absolute delight, she must have felt something special towards me because she stayed. I didn't know how much longer she would stay but I was just grateful that I would have more time with her.

Every time we went out together we talked the entire time. Unbeknownst to me, she didn't understand half the things I was saying. and I am probably fortunate for that lol.

That one extra week soon turned into two, then three. It was Sunday I remember saying to her "I wish you could stay with me forever", and to my surprise her response was "ok, let's go to Brooklyn and pick up my stuff". 

I couldn't believe how lucky I was. This amazing girl, the most beautiful, funny an intelligent girl I had ever met wanted to be with me. I was so excited and nervous at the same time. I thought maybe she will stay a week or two if I was lucky. 

That extra week has now turned into the rest of our lives!
